Ajith Kumar in Billa part2 booking in Parvathy Omanakuttan

The winner of Femina Miss India World 2008, Parvathy Omanakuttan has been roped in to play one of the female leads in Ajith Kumar's much-hyped Billa 2. She has replaced Huma Qureshi, who was originally signed for the key role, in the forthcoming Tamil film.

Sources say that Parvathy Omanakuttan impressed the makers of the film in the recently held audition. The choice of the Kerala beauty was unanimous, says a production house source. She will be playing Ajith Kumar's love interest in Billa 2. The actress will join the crew for the next schedule of the shooting in Goa.

Huma Qureshi, who had signed before, walked out of Billa 2 after the movie failed to take off on time. Hence, the movie bosses were forced to find another actress. She will be seen alongside Bruna Abdullah, who has an important role in the upcoming Tamil movie.

Billa 2 is a sequel to Billa, which was a remake of Bollywood movie Don. The second instalment has a fresh story, which is written and directed by Chakri Toleti.

"Ajith in next film after mangatha"

The pre-production phase for Ajith’s ‘Billa-2’ is fast progressing towards completion. It is a very well known fact that Chakri Toleti and his team of writers were involved in the script writing process. Now, here’s additional attraction to the project as Ajith is writing screenplay and dialogues as well.
Ajith has always been an active participant of such arenas in all his projects, but had his credits only through the movie ‘Asal’. The film established him not alone as a screenwriter, but as co-director as well.
Now with his interests towards these panoramas reaching its extremum, can we expect Thala as a filmmaker soon?
