South actor Prithviraj’s debut Hindi film titled Ayya will have Rani Mukherjee as the heroine.According to the latest news,Rani will play the lead role opposite prithviraj in Ayya.
The famous actor of malayalam films-Prithviraj, is making his debut in bollywood with Ayya and its lead actress will be Rani mukherjee.Prithviraj plays a Tamil painter in the film,and rani will play his love interest.
The selection of the heroine was facing problems,as the actress needed to be beautiful and talented.Finally,bollywood actress Rani mukherjee has been roped in opposite the actor.Ayya will be
directed by Anurag Kashyap,and the shooting of the film begins next month.

Set in the backdrop of a Mumbai based Marathi family, the film has Rani playing a typical Marathi girl dressed in salwars. Prithviraj will be playing a Tamil painter who speaks Hindi with a South Indian accent.
Ayya also marks the Bollywood debut of National Award winning Marathi director Sachin Kundalkar. Prithviraj said that he agreed to do this project not because he fancies doing a Hindi film, but because he found Anurag’s script interesting.
It is earlier reported that young Superstar Prithviraj would make his Bollywood debut with an offbeat movie directed by Anurag Kashyap and Rani Mukherjee would be his heroine. Ending all the guesses Kashyap titled this movie project as 'Ayya'.
Prithvi plays a Tamil painter in the movie and Rani will be there in an important role.
Ayya will start rolling next month. Anurag and his team were reportedly impressed with Prithviraj's performances in some of his Mollywood movies like Urumi and consequently offered him the lead role in the film. Ayya also marks the Bollywood debut of National Award winning Marathi director Sachin Kundalkar.
