Initially actor Parthipan was signed on to play the male lead and in a turn of events, he opted out of the film without revealing any reasons. Following this, Ameer who contested again the director in the recently concluded Director’s association election has replaced Parthiban. ‘Vaagai Sooda Vaa’ Iniya and ‘Ko’ heroine Karthika are playing the lead roles. Like heroines of Bharathiraja’s many films, Iniya seems too have acted without blouse.
